About

Meet Myke

I joined the Army after returning to Indiana from Hollywood, CA where I attended Musicians’ Institute and worked as a professional musician. The plan was to return to L.A., but I met my wife (Christy) and that changed everything for the best.

After serving for 8 years as an Automated Logistical Specialist (92A) in the Indiana Army National Guard and attending Indiana University, where I led the ROTC group as Cadet Sergeant Major and earned 2 Bachelor of Arts Degrees (English and Philosophy) in 4 years, I packed up my young family and began working as a freelance writer in Florida.

Working as a non-fiction writer, mostly for non-profit grants and business proposals introduced me to technical writing. That led to software development lifecycle management (SDLC), which led to project management.

Over the next 15 years, I dedicated myself to learning and becoming an expert in process improvement, change management, agile transformations, and software delivery. I earned many certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Agile Facilitator (CAF), Certified Agile Leader (CAL), and Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC).

After more than 12 years of working as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach, and Sr. Consultant, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots and started my own small business, Seven Stone Pillars (SSP)—named for my now expanded family, which consists of myself, my wife, and our 5 kids.

The purpose of SSP is to build a multi-generational legacy and demonstrate to our children that if you’re willing to serve others and help solve problems you’ll never have to worry about having a job.

Seven Stone Pillars, LLC reflects my desire for my family to stand strong and tall while serving others.

The first conversation is free.

By the end of it, you'll have a clearer picture of your situation than you had coming in. That's the minimum value of any conversation with me.
